Application:
1) 100% waterproof of SPC flooring
SPC flooring is 100% waterproof, which you can install on every room in your home.
2) Anti-Scratch of SPC flooring
SPC flooring uses the new technology UV paint, which contains metallic oxide.
3) Tain Resistance of SPC flooring
The surface of EPL SPC flooring is covered by PE wear layer, and specially treated with a special and double-layer UV coating. The UV paint is top and special technology in China, which is stain resistance enough.
Stone plastics composite (SPC) is a new type of environment-friendly floor developed on the basis of high technology. It has the characteristics of zero formaldehyde, mildew, moisture-proof, fire-proof, insect-proof and simple installation. SPC flooring does not need glue. They do not contain heavy metals, phthalates, methanol, and other harmful substances. With its excellent stability and durability, the stone-plastic floor not only solves the problem of damp deformation and mildew of solid wood floor, but also solves the problem of formaldehyde of other decoration materials. It has many patterns to choose from and is suitable for indoor furniture, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, and other public places.
1. Check you have enough floor products to complete your flooring allowing for 10% wastage for cutting etc. This also should allow for some spare after project completion for any future repairs.
2. Check your subfloor before installation-it must be dry and clean before laying any boards. Check that the surface is flat, meaning within 3mm over a 3-meter span. If you have greater variation than this, then a self-leveling compound can be used.
3. To provide the best color blend, please ensure you open and install from 3-4 boxes at a time.
4. Any greater spans than 10 meters in one direction must be broken up by an expansion joint. An expansion joint should be 6-10mm and can be finished with a T profile trim.
5. The floor can be installed over underfloor heating. Please ensure the heating is evenly distributed and the floor temperature must not exceed 30°C.
6. Normally the floor will not require acclimatization. The exception is if it has been in extreme storage either below 10C or over 40C. If this has been the case, acclimatize for 24+ hours in the project location.
7. The floor is a water-proof material, but that does not mean that water can not pass through joints, etc. So, therefore, the subfloor must not have a moisture content any greater than 2.5% according to CM testing method. If any leak or flood does occur, the floor should be uplifted to allow the area to fully dry. The floor is not designed to be used in any exterior situation.
